"Quedan un millon en todo el planeta. hay de todas formas y tamaños, tienen habilidades increíbles.
Mi abuelo dice que estan aquí desde antes que nosotros y estarán aquí cuando ya no estemos.
Vigilan, esperan y observan.
Así como los oceanos o las montañas, convivimos juntos.
Se los llamaba los "Sin espiritu" hoy se los conoce como los Neon Blood"

Siempre trato de buscar que las ilustraciones cuenten más de lo que muestran.

Buzz Lightyear & The Pixar Times

Hace algunos meses estuve en contacto con gente del blog especializado en Pixar, The Pixar Times.
Allí pueden encontrar toda la información y novedades de Pixar.
También tienen una sección llamada PixArt, donde invitan a un artista diferente por mes para realizar alguna ilustración, siempre con motivo Pixar.
El mes de Agosto de 2011 me tocó a mí. Aquí les dejo mi ilustración, de mi personaje favorito, Buzz Lightyear.

Some months ago I got in touch with people from the specialized blog of Pixar, The Pixar Times.
There you can find information and news from Pixar.
They also have a section called PixArt, which invite different artist each month for an illustration, allways to illustrate something related to Pixar.
August 2011 was my turn. Here I leave my illustration, my favorite character, Buzz Lightyear.

Simple Cinema!

Cuatro de mis películas favoritas. La idea era hacer una ilustración de cada una, utilizando los mismos colores, buscando un estilo sencillo y expresivo.

Four of my favorite movies. The idea was to make an illustration of each, using the same colors, looking for a simple and expressive style.

"De Amor de Locura y de Muerte"

Se llama "De Amor de Locura y de Muerte."

Un libro que compila los cuentos del libro de Horacio Quiroga en forma de historieta. Editado por Pictus y adaptado por Luciano Saracino.

"La Meningitis y su sombra" Ese es el nombre de mi cuento. Hermoso cuento.
La historia de una joven enferma que se enamora perdidamente de un desconocido mientras le dura la fiebre.

Aquí algunas imágenes de la búsqueda de los personajes.

Me pareció interesante cambiar de rumbo con el protagonista, ampliar la distancia y apostar a un amor entre una joven hermosa y un hombre no tan hermoso.

El libro cuenta con la fantástica adaptación de Luciano Saracino y el talento de 18 artistas maravillosos:

The name is "De Amor, de Locura y de Muerte." Book that compiles the stories of Latin American writer Horacio Quiroga in a comic book. The book has Luciano Saracino´s scripts and the talent of 18 Hispanic artists from the comic and illustration. Here are some sketches and characters from the comic that I had the pleasure to illustrate. Hope you enjoy!
